I think I finally found some web based productivity software that actually improves productivity. For the past couple of months I’ve been looking for a way to track just a simple todo list online (without wanting to write it myself). So I started keeping my todo list in google spreadsheets, I found it useful and soon started leaving myself general notes on another page, but the spreadsheet format just didn’t quite lend it self to tracking notes the way that it did when tracking todo items. That last sentence may sound silly, but I personally like my software to feel as though it was designed to do whatever it is that I’m using it for, and spreadsheets are generic (which is good) but in the long run the experience felt generic, which wasn’t what I was looking for.
